Technology Committee

Purpose:

The Technology Committee is an on-going committee formed to assure compatibility and federal compliance of the HPRHN infrastructure being used by distinct networks within competing member facilities .

General Assignment:

The assignment of the Technology Committee is to design and maintain the infrastructure that allows connectivity between all member facilities as well as connectivity outside the HPRHN infrastructure. This committee reports to the Board of Directors. To assure continued viability and compliance of the Network, the committee advises the Board of all design changes and recommends required upgrades to insure successful transmission of all services provided.

Committee Members:

The committee is comprised of IT/IS Department personnel from each of the urban members, and interested technology personnel from any of the rural members, as well as Kay who oversees the details and documentation of the meetings. Participants serve on the committee for as long as the member facility assigns them to the committee.

This committee may call upon other technical persons as necessary.

Meetings:

The committee meets via video on the second Wednesday of each month at 2:00pm.
